The following grid boxes, tweezers and tack strips are made available to assist your SMART Grid handling and sample preparation. In addition to these basic accessories, we encourage you to investigate our SMART Grid Handling Kits.
Grid Boxes
SMART Grids are shipped in Gel-Pak® gridboxes. Gel-Pak® gridbox carriers are optimal for handling and storage of SMART Grids since they remain immobilized to the gel surface even if dropped. Additional Gel-Pak® gridboxes are now available in two sizes:

Tack Strips
Tack strips are used during sample preparation to move SMART Grids between physical locations or between processing steps. Once placed on the tack strip single or multiple grids can be moved, washed, and dried withstanding heat up to 200 °C. SMART Grids are placed and removed from the tack strip using Dune's standard usage and handling methods, simply remove the protective cover before use. Tack strips are 6 X 30 mm and ship in packs of 10. Adhesive backed tack strips stick to grid boxes, glass slides and cover slips and other flat surfaces. Can be used in the same manner as TS630-10 and may be especially useful in storing grids for future use or archiving. Tack strips are 6 X 30 mm and ship in packs of 10. | ||||||
