Smart Grids
New Windows for Enhanced Viewing
Based on feedback from our customers, Dune Sciences is happy to announce the availability of new Smart Grids (Type A) with small, medium, and large windows. The original Type A grids have small windows that are 50 x 50 microns. The Type A Medium grids have windows that are 100 x 100 microns, and the Large grids have windows that are 150 x 150 microns.
Dune Sciences believes that these new grids will fulfill a need to increase the viewing area for samples deposited on the Smart Grids. The medium windows have 4X more viewing area per window while the large windows have 9X more viewing area compared to the original Type A grids.
When ordering, please specify in the comments sections whether you would like the small, medium, or large windows. We are currently switching our standard window size to the medium windows. Hence, if you do not specify, we will provide you grids with 100 x 100 micron windows.
